Forum 35 is a community of engaged young men and women dedicated to improving and shaping Baton Rouge. Forum 35 firmly believes there are few groups that offer the young people of our city such a variety of opportunities to make a positive impact in both their life and the lives of others.
History Forum 35 traces its origins back to 1993 when the Baton Rouge Area Foundation allocated seed money to form a nonprofit organization for young men and women of our community. Beginning with only 40 people, this organization would provide members personal growth opportunities, encourage philanthropic interests and cultivate professional leadership to ultimately improve the city of Baton Rouge and it's future generations of leaders. Forum 35 initiatives have included lighting the Mississippi River Bridge, Plan Baton Rouge, "We Are BR!" and our city's participation in the national Social Capital Survey.
Your Future
Today, hundreds strong, Forum 35 works with community leaders to address important issues facing the greater Baton Rouge area. Members are working to better our area schools, find ways to improve racial relationships and to strengthen community pride. As an organization we are dedicated to improving our community and cultivating the young leaders for the future.
